SEC Penalizes Block.one $24 Million For Unregistered ICO

Block.one, the Blockchain technology firm, has been penalized $24 Million by the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) for operating an unregistered initial coin offering (ICO). As per the SEC, the firm carried out the ICO from June 2017 to June 2018, lifting digital assets worth several billion dollars, but did not enroll it as a securities services as specified by federal securities rules.
