The figures calculated by InsideBitcoins.com show that a significant amount was lost in crypto exchange hackings. Other affected platforms include cryptocurrency wallets and mining platforms. The first blockchain hacking was in 2011 when Tokyo based Mt.Gox lost approximately 2000 BTC ($17.2 million).
